the stonefly loves muddy and swampy lands.











Plankton:
Nostoc- is a photosynthetic cyanobacterium. The cells are joined end-to-end to form a colony that looks like a string of beads. Some cells form specialized heterocysts that fix nitrogen gas as nitrate.

Diatoms-are singled celled yellow algae. They have a hard cell walls made of silica. They are common in lakes and ponds. They squirt out liquids to move around. They are also found in slow moving rivers

Volvox- They are protists and they move buy spinning.

Mollusks:



Other:
  • Tadpoles-they live in the marshes and fresh water. Tadpoles grow up to be a frog.
  • Crayfish-they make good bait for bass and they are good to eat. They are related to crabs, shrimp, and lobsters and even zooplankton. They live in fresh water.
  • Mudpuppies-they are also called waterdogs and they are aquatic salamanders of the family Proteidae.
