Brook trout are member of an ancient order of fish that had its beginning more than one hundred million years ago. They lived in a geological time zone with the dinosuars that develops higher forms of animals.

Interesting Facts:
1. Back in Minnesota's lumberjack days, logging outfits used to transport brook trout in milk cans and stock them in north woods streams.
2. The fish would then provide meals for the loggers.
